I realised as I completed my chauferring duties this morning that it must be a non-uniform day at the local secondary school. Hordes of teenagers walking along without their black uniform trousers on - they ALL had blue jeans on instead ... don't they realise that they've swopped one uniform for another

You are right about non-uniform days. The kids don't become more individual, they become more of a mob.
