Life took a turn for the worse during the summer

Basically too much to do and not enough time to do it ... so heres a catch up
Lots of problems with LEA withdrawing Js support for SALT after his review but doing it in such a way that we couldnt appeal to SENDIST.
We ended up looking at asking for a judicial review of the LEA's actions we had until the end of Sept to decide but they were stalling us by not replying to letters
They referred us on to their legal dept who have said they will reply in 28 days which was after the deadline for us to apply for the judicial review ...
We have had to find a specialist SEN Lawyer and photocopy all our evidence from last two years for lawyer
a mammoth job when you consider that this takes up three and a half lever arch files
Ive also had to get evidence together re the lady who hit my car and then said there was no accident and wouldn't give me her details
... from last May
just had a letter from insurers asking if Im prepared to go to court
Added to which I have developed plantar fasciitis which is excruciatingly painful so much so that Im using a stick to walk at the moment not the best time to have acquired a dog. Part of the treatment is to rest my foot fat chance of that LOL!
On the positive side I have managed to attend the AWARES online conference on autism and made my presence known by tackling a few professionals about their papers.
and we have finally managed to get the LEA to fund six sessions of SALT over the next academic year so wont be going the judicial review path saving time and money for us which we are now about to spend by getting a private EP to review J and provide a report for his review in January when we will be discussing provision at secondary level.
